NADE Conference Planning Manual
Job Fair. Please let Curtis Ricker or Janet O'Brien know if you are interested in talking to institutional representatives about openings or if your institution is interested in interviewing conference participants at the next NADE Conference. We want to be able to provide information on available jobs and prospective applicants.
2011 NADE Conference
WHAT. National Association for Developmental Education 35th Annual Conference. Full registration will include access to approximately 200 concurrent sessions and opportunities for professional growth and development. Exhibitors will display new texts and supplemental materials of interest to Developmental
Education practitioners.

CAPITOL HILL. NADE chapters will engage in congressional visits to Capitol Hill.
SPEAKER. Jeffrey Zaslow, a columnist for The Wall Street Journal, attended the last lecture and co-authored The Last Lecture that helped fuel worldwide interest in it.
INSTITUTES. Pre-conference institutes will include an all-day NADE Certification Training Institute ($200), along with half-day institutes on specialized topics ($40 each).
TOURS. Smithsonian Museum, Library of Congress, National Gallery of Art, Newseum, and many others!
EVENTS. Cultural Diversity Event with stops by Embassy Row, National Mall, Cathedral
“TRAINING” in D.C. An orientation will be presented on navigating around the city on the Metro.
